Tuesday 12th December Church St Viewing Platform
From 7pm the Bellingen Big Band will play their last performance for 2017. This is an end of year wrap up performance for the band. The group has practised up a repertoire of Swingin’ classics, Latin favourites, driving rock grooves and delightful ballads. This set of fine arrangements will be a showcase of all the members in the band.
For over 20 years this community based group has provides the opportunity for training and performance to well over 300 aspiring musicians. Under the musical direction of Chris Frater the band has performed at many Events and Festivals and is known for its energetic yet sophisticated sound. The Bellingen Big Band acknowledges the Bellingen Shire Council Community Support Fund. The band is a member of Bellingen Music Association.
Over the past year the band has featured and line of fine musical talent.
