There is an opportunity for local food businesses to be involved in the Food Showcase. Typically 3-4 businesses are chosen from the Bellingen Shire to be involved in the showcase. If you would like to nominate a business – please send their details to:

The annual Mid North Coast Food Forum will be hosted in Coffs Harbour at Bonville Golf Resort on Monday the 14th November 2016, from 8.30am to 4.30pm.

Featuring the region and Australia’s most successful food entrepreneurs, this year’s Food Forum will offer something for anyone with an interest in food and agriculture. It will also provide an opportunity to network with inspiring entrepreneurs, some of our best local producers and hospitality guru’s within the Mid-North Coast food industry.

The Forum is aimed at:

Growers – Restaurateurs – Food Wholesalers – Food Retailers – Value-Adders – Business Start Ups

 

The Forum will include:

 

Keynote speaker – Tom Potter’s inspirational journey which led to his success with Eagle Boys Pizza.

Guest speakers from our region will cover a wide range of topics suitable for all associated with food production and sales. These include sustainability, marketing and business start-up initiatives.

Panel and Round Table Discussions – Experts will share valuable insight into key topics around franchising, cooperatives, agri-tourism, product development, and business planning & finance.

Local Produce Showcase – Sample produce from some of the region’s best producers and value-adders.

Harvest Table Lunch –The region’s best chefs will delight delegates with a 3 course meal featuring some of the area’s finest produce.

THE HARVEST TABLE LUNCH – Bonville Golf Resort Head Chef has prepared an exclusive menu to showcase the best produce that the region has to offer.

Through lunch:

  • Kamaldeep Singh – CEO of Oz Group will present on the benefits of the Blueberry Cooperative for Coffs Harbour and NSW.
  • Jai Chadderton – Coastal Fine Foods will share his experiences of brand development and working with small goods producers to find new markets for products.
