After a brief lull in May, when the co-working organisers were busy doing other things (Hilary was overseas and you may have noticed Andrew had a campaign to run)  the co-working meet-ups are back.

This month we are going to hear from Courtney Tune, our region’s entrepreneurship facilitator. Courtney will give an overview of the program he’s running. Having dealt with some 70-odd businesses so far, he will also share his insights into the key issues and challenges that small businesses in the region are facing, and how they are tackling those challenges.Entrepreneurs and business owners  from the Coffs area will be joining us, so this will be a great opportunity to meet some new people and make new contacts.

 About Courtney

Having spent nearly 15-years working in business, economic development and events, in 2013 Courtney kicked off his real education in business starting a bar/restaurant and live music venue in the main street of Sawtell. Over the next 5 years he learnt the ups and downs of entrepreneurship and the challenges that small business face, but also the great opportunity that business presents in sharing a passion and the independence of being your own boss.

Courtney’s latest venture – Alt-Collective – is based in Sawtell, and works closely with local small business and new start-ups on developing the support networks and the skills they need to succeed. In January this year, Alt-Collective were successful in tendering for the Entrepreneurship Facilitator Services, a government funded program.

Again, you will need to book Here via Event Brite
